psychedelic confusion at grandmother's

grandmother, grandfather, great aunt and two grandchildren are sitting at dinner table, eating, and listening to the radio. all is calm and quiet. suddenly, intensely psychedelic jazz starts to play on the radio, saxophone sounds, confusing rhythm, everything goes messy, a shift in the logic of the space, senseless, a knife drops on the ground making a clank! somewhere, grandmother is turning the lights off and on, the room is dark, the room is light, the music continues, grandmother hisses on great aunt who is washing dishes, wants to get rid of her, hhhssssccchhh, great aunt leaves, the music stops.
grandchildren are blinking their eyes, looking at each other, not understanding what had just happened.
